Kaiser Permanente Community Giving Campaign Donates Nearly $1 Million

April 3, 2013

April 3, 2013 --  Kaiser Permanente employees showed their generosity last year by donating more than ever to the annual Community Giving Campaign.

The 2012 campaign raised $932,673 — $575,000 in contributions from employees, plus company matching and $74,000 through employee fundraisers.

The Kaiser Permanente Community Giving Campaign provides employees the opportunity to support their favorite community organizations. There were 1,000 groups supported this year, including large ones such as United Way and smaller ones such as North by Northeast Community Health Center in Portland. All of these organizations strengthen our community by helping some of our most vulnerable neighbors.

Kaiser Permanente will celebrate employees’ spirit of giving and volunteerism with a special breakfast in Portland.
