The Institute For Behavioral Health Integrationsm Announces its first for Oregon only Certificate Program in Integrated Primary Care

December 22, 2014

IBHI has partnered with Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) to offer their Certificate Program in Integrated Primary Care (CPIPC) to strengthen Benton County’s health department, as well as to groups, organizations and individuals across the state of Oregon.

FDU offers a comprehensive, distance based program that meets the growing demand of integrating behavioral health services into primary care settings. This one time offering will be tailored for Oregon in regard to regulatory aspects and create an on going network of professional Behavioral Health Consultants across our state.

The Certificate Program in Integrated Primary Care is a continuing education program intended to prepare healthcare professionals interested in preparing for the integrated primary care environment of the future. The distance-based format uses a combination of video lectures, online discussion, and readings. The format allows participants the flexibility they need to integrate program demands into their busy schedules.

The program consists of five units, each comprised of four modules, completed over 20 weeks. Participants are awarded 80 continuing education or continuing medical education credits and a certificate of completion.
