Join us for the next HiMSS Webinar on Implementing a Rural Telemedicine Simulation for Clinical Learners. This session will help you understand how "out of box" Internet based videoconferencing technologies (e.g. Adobe Connect, Skype, Google Hangouts, etc.) can be leveraged to deliver a simulated rural telemedicine environment that exposes clinical-learners of all levels to the competencies necessary for delivering patient-centered care using technology.

Ryan Palmer, Ed.D, Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at OHSU will answer audience questions as well as discuss the impact of the simulation, successful dissemination of the simulation to other institutions and professions and how this work can translate to the professional clinical environment.

This session has an attendance limit, please register today to insure your reservation.

This event has been approved for up to 1.00 continuing education (CE) hours for use in fulfilling the continuing education requirements of the Certified Professional in Healthcare Management Systems (CPHIMS) and Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMS).

Sponsorship opportunities for this and future HiMSS Events are still available. Please contact Rex Eads at [email protected]
