HIMSS OHA Provider Data Webinar - March 20, 2018

The Oregon Chapter of HIMSS and the Oregon Health Authority invite health care providers, payers, coordinated care organizations, health plans and systems, clinic administrators and other stakeholders to a complimentary webinar presented by the OHA’s Office of Health Information Technology on March 22nd from 12 – 1 p.m. PST.

The Webinar will cover two statewide health IT programs aimed to improve administrative efficiencies and the quality of provider data:

  • The Common Credentialing Program is a mandated program for the centralized collection and verification of health care practitioner information.

  • The Provider Directory will serve as is a trusted, accurate source of provider information that will support operations, health information exchange, and analytic uses.

Attendees will gain an understanding of:
-The complexities of provider data and current alignment efforts in Oregon.
-The Oregon Common Credentialing Program, user requirements, and program value.
-The scope of the statewide Provider Directory and its utility for healthcare treatment, payment and operations
