Health Share of Oregon’s Community Advisory Council meeting, scheduled for Friday, February 7 at 12:30pm, has been cancelled due to the severe weather conditions in the Tri-County area.

“The National Weather Service’s forecast of snow in the Portland Metro area today through Saturday, accompanied by gusting winds, will make for treacherous travel conditions around our area ,” said Council Chair Steve Weiss. ”Therefore, I’ve decided to err on the side of safety for both our Council members and others who would normally attend and have cancelled the meeting due to the hazardous weather conditions.”

About the Community Advisory Council
Comprised of Oregon Health Plan members, leaders from community-based organizations and county agencies, the Council plays a dual role. In addition to advising Health Share’s Board of Directors on the strategic direction of the organization, the Council enables consumers to take an active role in improving their own health and that of their family and communities.
