(Portland, OR) – Health Share of Oregon staff will present new data platforms that are available to help identify health disparities among its membership. In addition, staff will present plans for how Health Share can engage its members in addressing these disparities. The information will be used to shape community health improvement efforts.
Northwest Family Services and Kaiser Permanente’s Community Benefit program will present their Photo Voice project and how this approach can be successful in raising community voice to create a more holistic view of what is happening in the community. Health Share will discuss plans to conduct its own Photo Voice project with members in an effort to keep member voice and experience at the center of what Health Share does.
The meeting is open to the public and Health Share members are encouraged to attend.
