HCAO April 20 Legislative Day and Rally!

March 29, 2017

Mark your calendar and join Health Care for All-Oregon Thursday, April 20, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at a Senate Committee on Health Care hearing on our single payer bill and the RAND study (1 pm), legislative visits (all day- pick up packets in Room 243) and a 12:00 noon rally (bring banners and signs, wear tee-shirts and buttons) on the West Capitol steps in support of universal, publicly funded health care.

Register for the HCAO April 20th Rally today at hcao.org Everybody in and nobody out! Why? Because we want IMPROVED MEDICARE FOR ALL!

HCAO educates citizens and public officials about the need for a health care system that

• Ensures comprehensive, highquality health care for all

• Provides care based on patents’ needs, not on maximizing profits

• Focuses on education, prevention, effective treatment, and improved outcomes

• Is publicly coordinated and financed—to minimize administrative costs, duplication, and waste and maximize the resources directed to medical providers and medical care.

You can also join a group to meet with your legislators to tell them we want health care for all people! It is not ok that every year thousands of Oregonians die because they are unable to afford basic health care. Don’t wait – start your plans now to fill a bus, a van, or caravan of cars and spend the day in Salem Rallying with HCAO Supporters.
