Harvest Hustle 5k‏

October 12, 2015

October, 2015 – OHSU’s Institute on Development and Disability (IDD) will be conducting the second annual Harvest Hustle 5K/1K fundraiser on Sunday, October 18, 2015. This event will raise money for programs within IDD as well as Camp Odakoda, an overnight summer camp for kids with Autism.

The race will start and finish in front of the World Trade Center in downtown Portland, OR. Registration is live at www.harvesthustle5k.org and race day registration starts at 8:30 a.m. The race (which is chip timed) begins at 8:45 a.m., rain or shine.  The tax-deductible registration fee is $30 for adults, $15 for teens, and $5 for children. All race participants and supporters are invited to enjoy a slice of pumpkin pie during the awards ceremony directly after the race conclusion.

All fitness levels welcome! This event is designed for the whole family to enjoy!
Families throughout the region turn to the IDD for care, compassion, and resources for infants, children, and adults with developmental disabilities or special health needs. In addition to clinical service, the IDD actively participates in research, public health/community outreach, and education/training to continuously improve knowledge and practice while working with patients and families in the hospital, in outpatient clinics, or in the patient’s home.
