Governor Kitzhaber announced the submittal of nominees for service on state boards and commissions. The nominees are subject to Senate confirmation. The Senate Rules Committee will hold confirmation hearings in September during Legislative Days.
"Oregon is well-served by knowledgeable, experienced volunteers who give their time and talents to boards and commissions," said Governor Kitzhaber. "Our statewide conversation on issues critical to Oregon's future benefits from meaningful citizen engagement and involvement."
