Future of Public Health Task Force meets May 12 in Bend

What: The sixth public meeting of the Task Force on the Future of Public Health. Agenda items include: Build understanding of Oregon’s early childhood priorities; explore and discuss first draft straw models; public comment period.

When: Monday, May 12, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: St. Charles Medical Center, 2500 NE Neff Road, Rooms A & B, Bend

Who: The Task Force on the Future of Public Health was created by Oregon HB 2348A to study the regionalization and consolidation of public health services, and the future of public health services in Oregon, to make recommendations for legislation.

The task force is made up of 15 members appointed by the Oregon Legislature, the Governor, and the directors of the Oregon Health Authority and the Department of Human Services.
