Free Clinic of Southwest Washington Receives $6,775 in Grants from Benjamin Levy

May 31, 2017

VANCOUVER, Wash., May 31, 2017 - The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington has received a total of $6,775 in grants from Benjamin Levy through the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington. The grants will help fund the clinic's medical and dental programs for low-income, uninsured and underinsured members of the Southwest Washington community.

"We're so grateful for this support," says Free Clinic Executive Director Barbe West. "The Free Clinic is funded by donors like Mr. Levy from the local community. We could not exist without them. Their gifts make it possible for us to serve nearly seven thousand patients annually."

The clinic provides the following free services: urgent medical and dental care, preventive dental care for children, diabetes care, health screenings, vision care, vaccinations and referrals to free specialty care. Without the Free Clinic, many patients would not seek care until their conditions were severe enough to drive them to the emergency room.

About the Free Clinic:
