FIX IT: Healthcare At the Tipping Point is a powerful new documentary film that reaches across the political and ideological divide to expand support for major healthcare reform.
This documentary takes an in-depth look into how our dysfunctional health care system is damaging our economy, suffocating our businesses, discouraging physicians and negatively impacting on the nation's health, while remaining unaffordable for a third of our citizens.
Producer Richard Master is the CEO of MCS Industries Inc, the nation’s chief supplier of wall and poster frames. After going to Chile and experiencing their healthcare system, he said that America had to do better and that America could do better, especially if we want our businesses to be competitive in the global economy. He hopes to rouse the nation’s business leaders to support the creation of a single-payer healthcare system.
A representative of Health Care for All Oregon will be available following the screening for a Question and Answer session.
