FamilyCare Health names Tanveer Bokhari as Director of Utilization Management

PORTLAND, Ore. (June 29, 2016) – FamilyCare Health has named Tanveer Bokhari as Director of Utilization Management. Bokhari will oversee several teams within the Portland-based CCO, including medical reviews, referrals and authorizations, and pharmacy.

Bokhari is a physician and experienced clinician who began his career at the Civil Teaching Hospital in Rawalpindi, Pakistan and has 14 years of experience in the U.S. health care industry. Prior to joining FamilyCare, he spent nine years at the Portland InterHospital Physician Association (Portland IPA). He has facilitated team building processes for change management and developed leadership development program courses in health care leadership in collaboration with the Harvard School of Public Health, Providence Medical Group, and Portland IPA.

Bokhari received his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Rawalpindi Medical College.
