PORTLAND, Ore. (June 8, 2016) – FamilyCare Health announced today that Robert Reynolds, PhD, has been named Director, Healthcare Analytics. Reynolds will oversee and lead the direction of analytics and research to support clinical, financial, and client reporting, as well as business strategy at the Portland-based Coordinated Care Organization.
Reynolds is an experienced biostatistician, data scientist, and thought leader with over 15 years of experience in health insurance, analytic consulting, and biomedical research. He also has a strong publication record stemming from research in oncology, disabilities, psychiatry, and occupational epidemiology. His recent experience includes serving as Manager of Data Science & Advanced Analytics at Cambia Health Solutions.
Among his various degrees and certificates are a Doctor of Philosophy of Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Arizona’s Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, and a Master of Science in Statistics from Texas A&M. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology, Journal of Insurance Medicine, and Aviation, Space & Environmental Medicine.
