Dr. Alison Little Joins PacificSource Community Solutions as Medical Director for Medicaid Programs

(BEND, Ore.)—PacificSource Community Solutions has hired Alison Little, M.D., M.P.H., as Medical Director for Medicaid Programs.

In this role, Dr. Little will be responsible for oversight, clinical safety, quality, and member experience for PacificSource’s Medicaid line of business.

“As an experienced family doctor, a health plan Medical Director and a nationally-recognized Medicaid health policy expert, Dr. Little will be a dynamic addition to the PacificSource team and to the communities that we serve,” said Ken Provencher, President and Chief Executive Officer of PacificSource.

Prior to joining PacificSource, Dr. Little served as the Senior Medical Director for the Center for Evidence-based Policy at Oregon Health and Science University, where she worked with Medicaid programs across the country providing evidence synthesis and policy advice. She has also served as acting medical director of the Oregon Medical Assistance Programs and the medical director of Clear Choice Health Plans. Dr. Little received her Bachelor of Science degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore., her master’s degree from the University of Washington, and her M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Little is a board certified Family Physician, and until recently, served on the Oregon Educator’s Benefits Board. In her free time, Dr. Little enjoys hiking, skiing and cooking.
