Douglas County Mental Health Services Provided by Adapt Under New Name

Community Health Alliance dba Compass Behavioral Health
February 1, 2017

Roseburg, OR, Jan 31, 2017. In September 2016, the Community Health Alliance (CHA) Board of Directors approved the integration of all CHA mental health programs and services with Adapt. Programs and services formerly provided under the name of the Community Health Alliance are now provided under the business name of Compass Behavioral Health. Dr. Gregory Brigham, a Board Certified Clinical Psychologist and CEO for Adapt, was appointed by the CHA Board of Directors to serve as CEO of Compass. “The new name was chosen to reflect a new direction in providing integrated behavioral health services to our community, as well as to represent meaningful change toward health and recovery,” said Brigham.

To avoid any disruption in client care, a number of steps are being taken to inform clients, health care providers and the public of the name change. “The most important thing for our clients to know is that they should not experience any change in the services they receive,” said Brigham. “Compass Behavior Health clients will continue to have access to highly skilled and caring professionals.”

Contact numbers will remain the same, and patients will continue to receive mental health services at the same locations. New Compass Behavioral Health signs will be posted at all service locations, and work is underway to update the website. The new website address is www.compassoregon.org.

Clients and family members with questions about Compass Behavioral Health services are encouraged to speak with their care provider or call 541-440-3532 or 1-800-866-9780.
