Conference of Local Health Officials Meets May 17 in Portland

What: The monthly conference meeting of the Conference of Local Health Officials (CLHO)

Agenda: Committee appointments; OHA organizational realignment; public health accountability process measures; public health modernization funding formula; tobacco prevention and education program element; CDC health promotion and chronic disease prevention funding opportunities; tuberculosis funding formula; marijuana tax distribution to counties; reactivation of Public Health Nursing Supervisors Caucus. When: May 17, 9:30-11:30 a.m. The meeting is open to the public. No conference call option is available for the public.

Where: Portland State Office Building, 800 NE Oregon St., Room 1E, Portland.

The Conference of Local Health Officials provides recommendations to the Oregon Health Authority on the foundational capabilities and programs, and any other public health program or activity under ORS 431.147 (ORS 431.340).
