March 25, 2015

On Saturday, April 11, 2015, TCF (The Center Foundation) is hosting a conference “Boomeritis: Managing the Active, Aging Adult” designed for primary care physicians and other medical providers who care for or have a special interest in the aging adult who wishes to remain active. Beginning at 8:00 a.m. at Mt. Bachelor Village Conference Center, the conference will feature Shawn Dailey from Therapeutic Associates and community provider for the Portland Trail Blazers. The conference will offer evidence based information to help attendees recognize the anatomic and physiologic changes related to aging and indications for treatment and intervention. Also presented are sessions on hormone replacement, techniques in knee preservation, nutrition and the aging body, and presentations on the shoulder. The all day conference includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and hands on break-out sessions. CEUs and CMEs are available. The conference raises funds for the youth safety programs operated by TCF. Contact TCF at 541-322-2399 or register online at www.centerfoundation.org.
