ROSEBURG, Ore. – Community Health Alliance (CHA), the non-profit organization that now manages the full array of mental health services for all Douglas County residents, is vacating the Douglas County Health Department building and opening two new offices on Mercy Medical’s campus in Roseburg.

“We are excited about this expansion and to continue the progress we have made so far,” said Janet Holland, CHA’s executive director. “This move will help Community Health Alliance improve access to quality, integrated mental health care for all Douglas County residents.”

CHA’s main office will remain at the 2700 Stewart Parkway “Annex B” location in Roseburg, which is where members receive initial services. From there, CHA’s staff will then direct members to the appropriate location depending on their specific needs. CHA’s psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners will be housed at 201 Medical Loop Drive, Suite 180, with its children’s and administrative services departments located nearby at 272 Medical Loop Drive, Suites C, D and E, both in Roseburg.

CHA’s main phone numbers will stay the same, 541-440-3532 or 800-866-9780.

The organization has been working together with local health care providers to help make the community’s mental health delivery system even better and exceed the standards of previous services. CHA currently has more than 80 employees and is seeking to expand its staff in 2015. The new offices will be fully functional by the end of December.

“Having three clinics will allow us to better serve our members and be more closely involved in the community,” said Holland. “The new locations are also convenient given their proximity to the hospital, which we hope will make it easier for patients to access our services.”
