Community Benefit Department Announces 2017 Application and Community Health Needs Assessments

June 23, 2017

Bend, Ore. — St. Charles Health System’s Community Benefit department is pleased to announce that the 2017 grant applications are now available and can be found at http://www.stcharleshealthcare.org/Healthy-Communities/Community-Health-Department/Community-Benefit-Task-Force .

Along with the release of the 2017 grant applications, St. Charles is providing access to the tri-county data used in the development of the Community Health Needs Assessment at http://www.stcharleshealthcare.org/Healthy-Communities/CHNA .

After assessing the data, analyzing other criteria and ensuring alignment with the health system’s mission and vision, suicide prevention has been selected as the strategic priority for 2017-2019 for all four communities served by St. Charles.

Organizations whose programs or services meet the priority areas listed above and would like to apply for funding should visit http://www.stcharleshealthcare.org/Healthy-Communities/Community-Health-Department/Community-Benefit-Task-Force and follow the application instructions.

Applications are due by Friday, June 30, 2017. Contact Carlos Salcedo, manager of community partnerships, at [email protected] with any questions.

Community Benefit contributions are separate from those granted by the St. Charles Foundation and/or the System Communications and Marketing Department. For information about the St. Charles Community Benefit funding cycles, visit   www.stcharleshealthcare.org/Healthy-Communities/Community-Health-Department/Community-Benefit-Task-Force
