NEWS RELEASE, Clinical Technology Risk Management: A CIO, ISO, and CMIO Panel, February 27,2018
The Oregon Chapter of HIMSS presents an interactive CMIO, ISO, and CIO panel discussion on the current landscape of clinical data uses, existing and emerging technology, and the competing priorities of the clinical use cases and information security. The panel will also share their perspectives on the challenges of balancing users' wish lists with regulatory and organizational policies including:
- What is the value proposition for the user?
- How do you protect the data?
- What are the policies and solutions for the long-term balance of data access vs lock down?
Panel members include: Steve Scott, ISO, St. Charles Health System, Andy Zechnich, Regional CMIO, Providence St Joseph Health, David Strickland, VP / Regional CIO, Kaiser Permanente – Northwest.
All attendees can share insights and ask questions in this interactive panel/audience discussion.
Who Should Attend: Health IT, security, risk management, compliance, those who support care delivery, vendors trying to learn more about the business, clinical and mobile data.
