June 4, 2013 -- Cascade Health, LLC, provides Onsite Health Screening Services that allow employees to easily access their health information and quickly identify a plan of action, as needed. Cascade’s screenings are not limited to typical lipid panels, and are designed to identify problem areas before the onset of chronic disease.
A unique aspect of Cascade’s health screenings includes an individual follow up session for each participant with a certified Health Coach who is also Masters level behavioral health counselor.
“Integrating behavioral health and health coaching allows us to truly assess comorbidities and provide solutions for employees’ physical and mental health,” says Dr. Julie Marshal Ph. D., Vice President of EAP clinical operations and an owner of Cascade Centers, Inc., the parent company of Cascade Health. “Health coaching for physical concerns alone is not as effective without addressing behavioral health, because more times than not, one affects the other.”
Cascade’s wellness coaches/ EAP counselors can also help with work/ life balance concerns. “People with financial problems or serious family concerns will not be able to focus on changing their unhealthy behavior. Our coaches can assess and make recommendations for all concerns,” adds Marshall.
All screenings are lab certified which allows employees to share the results with their physicians. The physicians can then conduct further diagnosis without having to reorder tests, which can significantly reduce the costs billed to the participants’ health plans.
Other management features for the employers include: Integration of results into Health Risk Assessments, an Executive Company Wide Summary Report, screening for BMI and Blood Pressure, and assistance with coordinating a wellness event.
