Washington, DC – Without an updated score from the Congressional Budget Office, House Republicans today forced a vote and passed their reckless legislation to repeal the Affordable Care Act and destroy Medicaid. Congressman Earl Blumenauer (OR-03) voted against the bill and released the following statement on its passage:
“Today’s vote is a disgrace. There will be real-life, devastating consequences for working families, people with disabilities and pre-existing conditions, women and children, and seniors. Republicans should be ashamed. America will hold them accountable.”
