Albertina Kerr Names New Individual & Planned Giving and Corporate Development & Giving Associate Directors

July 31, 2012 -- Albertina Kerr has hired Joshua Goldstein as Associate Director of Individual and Planned Giving and Nandini Sturm as Associate Director of Corporate Development & Giving.

July 31, 2012 -- Albertina Kerr has hired Joshua Goldstein as Associate Director of Individual and Planned Giving and Nandini Sturm as Associate Director of Corporate Development & Giving.

Joshua previously served as a Campaign Consultant with Community Counseling Service, a nationwide fundraising consulting firm where he worked on a nine person team to raise $57 million for the Diocese of Honolulu’s $25 million capital campaign. In addition, he consulted for the Denver Zoological Foundation to analyze a feasibility study and design a capital campaign plan. Joshua was also the Development Coordinator for Chrysalis, a homeless services agency in Los Angeles. He holds a Bachelors of Art in Women’s Studies from Washington State University and recently earned his MBA with an emphasis on non-profit management at Willamette University. In his free time, Joshua enjoys performing improv comedy. Joshua is responsible for Albertina Kerr’s individual giving, planned giving and donor relations programs and will also provide staff leadership for the Champions Angels campaign committee in addition to staff supervision of database management and research.

Nandini was previously the Executive Director (Central and Western Oregon) for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She served as the lead staff for corporate sponsorships and community partnerships, raising over half a million dollars in corporate and individual support annually. She was also responsible for building relationships with key business leaders, managing 20 fundraising programs/events and marketing and
public relation efforts. Nandini also worked in the development department at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon. Nandini holds a MBA from the University of Portland and a Bachelors in Business Administration from Gonzaga University where she played on the University Women’s Basketball Team and was the Women’s Soccer
Team Captain. Nandini is responsible for corporate sponsorships and the development of community partnerships as well as staff supervision of Albertina Kerr events, volunteer program and in-kind donations.
