MEDFORD, Ore.—Rogue Community College Allied Health Occupations will host the 2015 Statewide Community Health Worker Conference in Medford, Ore. from June 17 to 19.
This is a great opportunity for anyone involved in the health care system—from providers to social workers, public health professionals, law enforcement and healthcare administrators—to learn about the role community health workers (CHW) play in creating access to care, reducing care costs, and promoting healthy and happy communities through the shaping of policy and practice; acquiring knowledge on disease management practices; community partner development; methods of overcoming barriers; and implementing best practices in organization to support CHW program success.
The registration fee for Traditional Health Workers is $75 and for health care administration and/or advanced health care provider it is $100.
