Oregon Recovers, Oregon’s leading statewide addiction recovery advocacy organization, seeks a talented individual to strengthen and expand its online recovery resource directory, the Oregon Recovery Network (www.OregonRecoveryNetwork.org). This is an exciting opportunity to further develop a much-needed tool to assist individuals seeking or sustaining recovery from addiction by providing them rapid access to local peer services, detox and treatment, recovery housing and social connections.
Qualified applicants will be deeply rooted in a recovery community, have a demonstrated aptitude for technology and strong project/program managements skills.
Responsibilities:
SYSTEMS DESIGN. Facilitate the creation of a comprehensive design for the Oregon Recovery Network that reflects community and stakeholder needs and operational best practices.
SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTATION. Build and manage a team of technical consultants to build an interactive website and a functional, complimentary app.
Recruit and manage a marketing consultant to dramatically expand utilization of ORN by consumers and providers alike.
CONTENT MANAGEMENT. Develop and implement an in-house content management system for ORN that ensures real-time information for consumers utilizing the network.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS. Establish and nurture a network of peer service organizations which link ORN site users to a relevant peer in a timely manner.
PROGRAM EVALUATION. Establish a clear set of goals for ORN and facilitate a monthly process for evaluating ORN’s success towards achieving those goals.
Who are we looking for?
We realize this is a large job with a broad set of responsibilities! We are looking for an energetic, experienced project manager or non-profit executive that has a deep understanding of and passion for the recovery community. Some combination of the following skills and experience would be ideal:
Demonstrated problem solving and team management skills
An aptitude for technology and interest in systems development
A background in sales/marketing
Demonstrated ability to rapidly establish and utilize professional relationships
Ideally bilingual (Spanish & English)
Strong communications, community relations, volunteer management, or nonprofit development experience
Staff management experience
Willing to become a Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM).
