NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon Foundation (501c3) is seeking individuals to join our Board of Directors in 2020! Potential new Board members (“candidates”) will submit their application by the deadline indicated below and may progress through our process depending on skill-set and qualifications required for the functions of each Board. The application process potentially includes an interview with NARAL staff and Board members. Board members are eligible to serve two consecutive three-year terms. New Board Members will be offered a new Board member orientation. Board membership is voluntary, and serving on the Board of Directors is not paid work.
The Deputy Director is primarily the internal-facing manager for NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon (NPCO), while also contributing to the public-facing policy goals of the organization. This position works closely with the Executive Director and other team members to help support the overall goals and success of the organization.
The Oregon Community Health Workers Association (ORCHWA) is Oregon’s statewide association for Community Health Workers (CHWs). Founded in 2011, our mission is to work as a unified voice to empower and advocate for CHWs and our communities. We envision a world where CHWs are recognized as members of a profession, working together for community health, social justice, and equity. Northwest Human Services is currently seeking an Associate Medical Director to join our team. Our Associate Medical Director will provide exceptional, compassionate, and trauma-informed primary medical care to patients across a broad range of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. As the Associate Medical Director, you will provide leadership and mentorship to the Clinic Provider staff, including physicians, physician’s assistants and nurse practitioners. Through collaboration with the Medical Director and Clinic Director, you will help to ensure that clinical services are provided appropriately and efficiently. As a key contributor to quality improvement program, you'll have the opportunity to help us design, consistently implement, and update training processes, competency certification systems, and protocols, including the integration of behavioral health services. In that capacity, you will be familiar with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Northwest Human Services and work collaboratively to achieve them. Our programs are designed to maximize support for those in our community who need it most - uninsured individuals, families, the homeless, and migrant workers.
