Our Crisis & Information Hotline operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our goal is to foster the life-affirming part of each caller and to empower them to maintain or improve their quality of life. The Hotline is a member of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, and is accredited by the American Association of Suicidology, meaning we are held to the highest national standards for suicide intervention services. YOUR ROLE at NWHS:
The Crisis Hotline Program Manager is responsible for coordination and administrative oversight of the Crisis & Information Hotline program. The Program Manager will monitor agreements and responsibilities outlined in grants, contracts, and service supports provided to all NWHS programs and departments. The Program Manager will work alongside the Clinical Supervisor to ensure compliance with the American Association of Suicidology (AAS) and National Suicidal Prevention Lifeline (NSPL) standards or care. This position will actively participate in agency processes such as quality improvement, grant applications, and strategic planning. The Program Manager will also participate in community-based activities (e.g., suicide prevention coalition), committees, and work groups working to advance and support the crisis response systems and health and safety initiatives in our community
SUPERVISORY DUTIES:
Hires, coaches, and counsels’ direct employees based on established policies, procedures, protocols, and personnel policy guidelines. Develops, approves, implements, and maintains a consistent set of department/function policies, procedures and protocols that meet regulatory and accrediting standards. Designs and consistently implements and updates a department/function orientation and competency certification system for all categories of department/function personnel. Identifies and facilitates a department/function training and support process that addresses individual, and group needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, and/or equivalent experience.
Experience in crisis counseling or clinical oriented work preferred.
Education and knowledge of organizational behavior, program development, and mental health best practices preferred.
Experience with program oversight and providing supervision.
Experience with instructing, coordinating, and evaluating programs.
Public relations/speaking and trainer experience preferred.
Autonomous and independent worker; self-starter.
Creative and resourceful.
Strong time-management skills and high level of attention to details.
Demonstrated effective communication skills.
