Psychiatrist: Pay Range $208,728.00-$266,406.40
SPECIAL NOTE: As you may have noticed on our website, Jackson County is simultaneously recruiting for two similar positions at the same time within Health and Human Services. The titles of these recruitments are "Psychiatric Nurse Practice Manager" and "Psychiatrist". Please note we will only be filling one of the above positions with the best candidate from the combined pool of qualified applicants.
- These positions need to work well in a team-based setting, with fairly complex individuals. The ability to assist in the management of a team-based approach and be able to make independent clinical decisions. Flexibility in scheduling may be available depending on the needs of the clinic and its patients.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Manager: at least two years supervisory or managerial experience desirable.
Psychiatrist: three years of specialized psychiatric training in an approved residency program.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Manager: Master’s degree in nursing, licensure by the state of Oregon as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and certified by the Oregon State Board of Nursing as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive privileges. Valid DEA license with ability to prescribe schedule II through V controlled substances required, with DATA 2000 Waiver to prescribe buprenorphine for opioid use disorder preferred.
Psychiatrist: D.O. or M.D. in psychiatry with license to practice medicine in the State of Oregon or ability to acquire a license within six months of employment along three years of specialized psychiatric training in an approved residency program.
