Position assists in maintaining the electronic health record (EHR).Train staff on use of EHR, create and maintain reference materials, and answer support task tickets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Create/design/maintain forms and report in EHR.
• Perform data validation on reports.
• Maintain Sharepoint site for EHR information.
• Facilitate weekly Credible review sessions.
• Assist in workflow development.
• Conduct engaging and informative end user trainings to ensure optimal EHR utilization.
• Assist in the completion of Information Services help desk tickets
• Assist with EHR maintenance/upgrades/enhancements.
• Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position supervises no others in agency; and is directly supervised by the Business Information Supervisor. All staff and programs are responsible to the Executive Director.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associates degree in Healthcare, Business, Information required, Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience with HIPAA regulations required; have knowledge EHR systems maintenance, data visualization tools, and workflow development; minimum two years technical experience with software and general office equipment; experience assisting and training staff and familiarity with organizations programs and systems.
