Position Description: 

We currently have an opening for a full time Inpatient Therapist to complete specialized clinical social work services for patients and families requiring care. This includes crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and providing referrals, conducting psychosocial assessments, facilitating treatment groups, working with a multidisciplinary team on treatment planning and treatment plan updates.

Required Education and / or Certifications: 
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility with direct experience in family and group therapies, LGBTQ population, crisis intervention, treatment skills and clinical assessment skills is preferred.
  • State licensure preferred.
  • Successful completion of CPR certification, Crisis Management, and Service Excellence Training within 90 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.
