Job Summary

The Benton County Health Department is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (Outpatient - Adult Specialist) to join the team. We proudly serve all Benton County residents regardless of race, ethnicity, immigration status, gender, or sexual orientation, and regardless of ability to pay for services. In this role you will provide an array of services to a caseload of individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and co-occurring addiction disorders. Services provided range from individual therapy, group therapy and case management. Services are delivered in the office, telehealth and in the community (as needed). Mental health services are co-located with Substance Use Disorder Treatment, Primary Care and Dental. In this position, you will be work independently and as part of a integrated team. This position may provide specialized services depending on area of assignment. Clinical supervision may be offered to those seeking licensure.
   
Minimum Qualifications
The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:  

Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field; AND

One year of experience in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field. 

Special Requirements:

Hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. 

Valid Oregon driver's license. This position requires driving and may require use of a personal vehicle. 

PsyD, LCSW, LPC, or equivalent licensure preferred for Health Care Professional 

Benton County requires all Health Services and Clinic employees to complete their COVID-19 vaccination series or have an approved exception to the requirement due to a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief. Successful candidates for this position must submit vaccination documentation or be approved for an exception prior to their first day of employment. Failure to provide proof of full documentation or receipt of an approved exception will lead to withdrawal of the job offer.
