Position Description: 

Reporting to the Community Health Center Board of Directors and the Benton County Administrator, the Health Center Director (CHC Director) is responsible for strategic planning, oversight and operation of a multi-site integrated health care delivery system blending primary care, behavioral health, addictions, oral health, and prevention services. The CHC Director is responsible for the coordination, integration, assessment, and quality outcomes for person‐centered services, assuring compliance with all FQHC requirements. The CHC Director also develops, supports, and evaluates the organizational infrastructure that promotes innovation and supports high performance in an environment of rapid health care transformation.  The CHC Director actively works with the Health Center Board of Directors and Benton County Board of Commissioners in strategic planning and aligning services with community needs.

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare or related field (for example, Nursing, Public Health, Psychology, Social Services Other Business Admin, Medicine, Health Science Admin) and 10 years of related experience that includes a minimum of 5 years of related experience supervising professional-level staff. The annual salary range for this position is $101,750 to $162,799, DOQE. Comprehensive benefits. Relocation assistance subject to negotiation.

Required Qualifications and Experience: 

Minimum Qualifications

-Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare or related field (for example, Nursing, Public Health, Psychology, Social Services, Business Administration, Health Sciences)
-Ten years of management experience
-Five years of experience supervising professional-level staff

Preferred experience and skills
-Master's degree in a healthcare or related field (Public Health, Policy, Health Administration, Business)
-Senior-director-level healthcare program management experience
-Knowledge of best practices for providing rural and urban healthcare services
-Working knowledge of HRSA and PCPCH policies, procedures, and compliance
-Ability to coach, counsel, supervise, and evaluate job performance of assigned staff in a timely, constructive, and collaborative manner
-Ability to work effectively in a cultural and linguistically diverse environment and to cultivate equity and inclusion in every aspect of the organization’s work
-Ability to lead complex strategic planning and implementation
-Strong fiscal management skills, including experience in developing and managing budgets
organization-wide budgets
-Keen relationship and partnership building skills
-Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, an ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups
-Excellent time management and organizational skills
-Firsthand and/or learned knowledge of discrimination
-Advocacy experience at local and state levels
