Oregon Health Authority hires Jeremy Vandehey

February 4, 2010 -- Jeremy Vandehey has joined the Oregon Health Authority as its community engagement director. 

Earlier he was an attorney with Disability Rights Oregon representing patients at the Oregon State Hospital and also has experience as an assistant public defender.
Before practicing law, he worked with Oregonians for Health Security, a grassroots effort to expand access to quality, affordable health care. During the 2003 session, he was a legislative aide to Rep. Carolyn Tomei (D-Milwaukie).
Vandehey earned his law degree from the University of North Dakota and has a B.S. degree in public health and administration from Western Oregon University.
