Cedar Sinai Park Presents “As Time Goes By”

February 3, 2015

Portland, Oregon, February 3, 2015 -- Cedar Sinai Park is presenting its annual event, “As Time Goes By” on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Tualatin Country Club, announced Chief Executive Officer David Fuks today.

This elegant and fun event will include cocktails, dinner, live music, dancing and classic casino games – something for everyone – as we revisit the excitement and elegance of Rick’s Café from the iconic film Casablanca. Guests are invited to don vintage-inspired clothing or festive cocktail attire.

Proceeds from the event will go to support and enrich the lives of the residents of the Robison Jewish Health Center, now in its 95th year serving our community’s elders.

“As Time Goes By it becomes more important than ever to keep our elderly well cared for,” stated Cedar Sinai Park 2015 Annual Event Co-Chair Avrel Nudelman. “Please join us for a fun-filled evening that will directly benefit the residents at our own Robison Jewish Health Center. Helping our seniors is fundamental, and as the song says: The fundamental things apply, As Time Goes By.” Nudelman, a long-time volunteer at the Robison Home, is co-chairing the event along with CSP Board Member Sharon Weil.

This year’s annual event will take place on Saturday, March 14 starting at 6:00 pm at The Tualatin Country Club. Tickets are priced at $100 per person, with tables of ten available at $1,000.

Tickets can be purchased online by visiting cedarsinaipark.org/annualevent or by calling (503) 535-4360.

“All of us recognize that the cost of caring for our residents who lack the means to pay for their own care is a priority of this community,” says Fuks. “By having an event where we can enjoy each other’s company, we as a community are also fulfilling a very important obligation. We are so grateful for the support of our sponsors, and look forward to our friends in the community joining us for what will be a wonderful event.”

Event sponsors include: The Goodman Family, R&H Construction, D.A. Davidson & Company, Michael and Chris Feves, Holzman Foundation, Inc., McKesson Medical Surgical, Ruben J. and Elizabeth Menashe, Solomon D. & Rosalyn Menashe, Omnicare of Portland, Steinberg Investment Group, and many other generous supporters.
