Rich Peppers Becomes Chair of PEBB

February 18, 2010 -- Rich Peppers, assistant executive director of SEIU Local 503, has been elected chair of the Public Employees Benefit Board which provides coverage to 45,000 state employees and their dependents. Barney Speight, director of healthcare purchasing for the Oregon Health Authority, is the vice chair.
 

New board members include Fariborz Paksaresht, director of the Oregon Youth Authority and Speight. They replaced Bret West with the Department of Administrative Services and Suzanne Hofmann with the Department of Human Services.
