Regence Lobbyist Joins Providence

May 20, 2010 -- Michael Becker is now director of advocacy and government affairs for Providence Health and Services, having left a similar position at Regence BlueCross BlueShield where he spent the past nine years.

“It was purely my own choice,” said Becker, who’s working for the Providence system, not its health plan. “It was a great opportunity.”
