Perkins, Ellis Joins FamilyCare Executive Team

July 7, 2010 – FamilyCare has added two new members to its executive team – Victoria Perkins, RN, and Katherine Ellis, CPA.

 

Perkins, who has become Medicaid director, held senior positions at CareOregon and Multnomah County Health Department. Most recently she served as manager of geriatrics and long-term care at Kaiser Permanente. She also was director of clinical services at Northwest Cancer Specialists and project manager for the creation of the Oregon Public Health Institute Community Health Partnerships.

 

As the finance director of FamilyCare, Ellis, a native of Vermont, began her career as a senior auditor with Coopers & Lybrand, LLP in Salt Lake City. She moved to The Regence Group (BlueCross/Blue Shield) in 1995, and held positions of increasing responsibility including senior director internal audit (Utah), and director of information technology, finance and business operations (Portland).  She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Westminster College and an MBA from the University of Oregon.
