Northwest Health Foundation Believes in The Lund Report

As you know, the board of directors of the Northwest Health Foundation has graciously agreed to give us a $10,000 matching grant so we can hire a news reporter to focus on the emerging healthcare issues facing lawmakers during the 2011 session.

 

I am pleased to let you know that we’re very close to reaching this goal, and only need to raise another $2,855 in the next few weeks.

Even Governor-elect John Kitzhaber told political and community leaders recently that Oregon is headed toward a “death spiral” unless lawmakers make dramatic changes in the way government spends its money and delivers services.
