July 28, 2010 – Dennis M. McNannay has been chosen as executive director of the Oregon Bioscience Association (OBA) following a six-month national search.

McNannay comes to OBA from founding healthcare technology company CrossCurrent, Inc., a Portland-area software designer and provider of planning, coding and revenue management solutions for the surgical healthcare industry. As a founder of that firm, McNannay worked with Medtronic, Stryker, other medical device companies and surgeons to develop a new product line, which became the company’s most profitable offering.

“We are in excellent hands with Dennis, a broadly skilled biotech leader who brings proven executive management, market entry, fundraising and capital acquisition, contract management, advocacy and business development success to OBA,” said Board Chair Nathan Gibson of Skanska. “Dennis understands Oregon’s opportunities, he fits well within the OBA culture and will prove to be an invaluable partner to our member companies and associate partners alike.”
