Buying lower cost pharmaceuticals

 Anyone interested in saving money on drugs can participate in Oregon’s Prescription Drug Purchasing Pool, which offers a discount card that saves, on average, 42 percent.  All drugs prescribed by a licensed clinician are eligible for discounts.

Enroll in the Oregon Medical Insurance Pool

For anyone denied individual coverage by an Oregon insurance company, you are eligible for a guaranteed health plan through the state's high-risk pool known as the Oregon Medical Insurance Pool. Rates are capped at 25 percent above market rate, but at the moment, they're at 15 percent. Visit the program's Web site here and apply on-line here.
