Dr. Charles Kilo is Leaving Greenfield Health

Founder of the Portland clinic to become OHSU medical director

February 17, 2010 -- On March 15, Dr. Charles Kilo joins Oregon Health & Science University as its chief medical officer. As the founder of Greenfield Health, Kilo will leave the clinic in the hands of Steve Rallison, chief operating officer, Dr. David Shute, medical director.
 
“I am saddened because I will have to transition out of the daily activities of our team at Greenfield Health, an organization I’ve had the privilege of building with colleagues over the past nine years,” he wrote. “It has been an amazing experience, starting a new medical group and having it become locally respected and nationally recognized in that short period of time.”
 

At OHSU, Kilo will be working with its leaders and physicians to help guide the future of its hospital and medical clinics. “It’s no secret that healthcare is entering a period of great change,” he wrote. “Greenfield has played an important role locally and nationally over the past decade, and I am terribly proud of our team for this.”
