County Health Director Named VP for Association
September 15, 2009 -- Hats off to Lillian Shirley. She's just been named vice president and president-elect of the National Association of County and City Health Officials.
Lillian, director of Multnomah County's Health Department, also was appointed by Gov. Kulongoski as vice-chairman of the newly formed Oregon Health Policy Board, which is expected to transform Oregon's healthcare system following the passage of House Bill 2009.
