Business Leaders Join Health Improvement Committee
February 17, 2010 -- Three business leaders have been appointed to the Health Improvement Committee by the Oregon Health Policy Board.
They include:
· Richard (Andy) Anderson, senior vice president and chief operations officer at Cascade Corporation
· Paul Kaiser, director of health benefits at JELD-WEN, Inc., and
· Heidi Pierce, wellness coordinator at Stimson Lumber Company
That committee is charged with promoting and supporting lifestyle changes to prevent and manage chronic diseases. Its plan will incorporate policy, systems and environmental approaches that promote public health.
