February 2, 2011 – Allison McCormick has joined St. Charles Health System as director of its Cancer Center of Care.
With more than 19 years experience in management and program development, earlier she was vice president of project management and logistics at Paragon Biomedical, Inc. in Irvine, Calif. She also worked for Bend Memorial Clinic as a service line director overseeing seven clinical departments.
Meanwhile, Dr. Linyee Chang has become the cancer center’s clinical director, and worked as a radiation oncologist for Central Oregon Radiation Oncology Associates since 1994 and has served as medical director for radiation oncology for St. Charles since 2007. Chang holds an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Oregon and her medical degree from Oregon Health & Sciences University.
Chang is currently the chair of the Physician Hospital Alignment Quality and Outcomes Workgroup, chair of the St. Charles Cancer Committee, chair of the St. Charles Multidisciplinary Quality Assurance Committee and is a founding member of the PHA Steering Committee.
The Cancer Center of Care will begin its first 120-day strategic planning cycle May 1 with an anticipated launch date later this year.
